| THE PAINT is a play about the three years Leonardo da Vinci took to paint The Last Supper. Pupils and beggars gathered during this three years in order that Leonardo could take away from them a grimace or a gesture. The characters walk around asphyxiated by an ancestral dust. They become marionettes carried by women, revealing themselves as women in the shadows. They have female voices, female manners, longing for a reason for the desperate and ugly movements they have in THE PAINTING. |
